Wissant beach in brief
Ideally located between the two caps (Cap Blanc-Nez and Cap Gris-Nez), the seaside resort of Wissant is one of the most popular spots in the North during the summer. At low tide, the beach is huge and allows children to swim in the small shallow pools of water. On the other hand, at high tide, there is more space to walk on the sand.
Appreciated by photographers, painters, and simple enthusiasts of beautiful colors, Wissant often offers stunning sunsets and ideal settings for artists.
Bars, restaurants, ice cream vendors, and other small shops are nearby, without overwhelming the place.
Dogs are allowed only before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m., on a leash.
Ideally located, Wissant Beach offers a sports spectacle almost every day: windsurfing, land sailing, kite surfing, etc. It is also one of the best windsurfing spots in Northern Europe!
One small downside, parking near the beach can quickly turn into a nightmare. So be prepared to drive around a bit before finding a spot!

Accès éventuel via un chemin dans les dunes
Les voitures n’ont pas accès aux digues ce qui est un gros atout !
Un petit bémol toutefois : cela manque de points d’eau froide pour se laver les mains, se rincer les pieds…
Jolie plage
Un joli village avec tour ce qu’il faut pour passer de bonnes vacances.
Et une très belle plage, très propre. Un endroit très agréable !
