A tourist office is good for three things, and they're worth the ten-minute stop: picking up the walking trail map for the area, which isn't available online in as clear a version; finding out what's on that week, which isn't announced anywhere else; and knowing what's open, which changes a lot between July and November.

Wimereux's office also covers the neighbouring towns. If you're staying in Wimereux but spending the day at Les Deux Caps, that's where you'll be told how the trails look and today's tide times.
