Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to go live?

A few days. You send us a photo and two or three sentences, we format them and show you the result before publishing. Nothing goes live without your approval.

Why does space 1 cost more?

Because it’s more visible: at the top of the block, with the “Our favourite” badge, a frame and a bigger photo. Spaces 2 and 3 have the same card, one step down, and cost less.

Is the price the same in every town?

Yes. Space 1 costs the same in Wimereux, Le Touquet or Samer. What changes from town to town is the number of pages where your card appears: the tool above shows this for yours.

Can I write whatever I want?

Almost. We turn down unverifiable superlatives — “the best”, “tourists’ favourite” — because we’re the ones publishing them. The rest is your text, and your photo.

How does payment work?

Twelve months, paid up front, on a single invoice. The price shown is the price per month; the space is yours for the year. A month before it’s due to end, we’ll offer you the chance to keep it.

What if the space I want is already taken?

Each block has three spaces, and each space has only one holder at a time. If space 1 is taken, we’ll offer you 2 or 3, and let you know when 1 frees up.

Our Plan section receives requests from people with a group, a date and a budget: Away day, Stag do, Hen do, Wedding, Group trips. We don’t organise anything ourselves. We read them, and pass them on to a partner whose trade it is — only one per request. Terms are discussed directly, with you.

  2. We read it and pass it on to a single partner, the one whose trade this is.

  3. You reply directly, draw up your quote, and sign.

Frequently asked questions

How many requests will I receive?

We don’t promise any volume: we pass on what comes in, and only what matches your trade and your area. A forwarded request is a request we’ve read, with a date, a number of people and a budget.

Am I the only one to receive a request?

Yes. A request goes to a single partner. If you can’t take it on, let us know and it goes to someone else.

I also run a venue: can I have a space on my town’s page too?

Yes, the two aren’t mutually exclusive. An estate, a hall or a group restaurant can take a space in “Our 3 places to stay” or “Our 3 restaurants”, like any other business.
